Ryzen 7 5800x3d Ram

I without doing my research bought Thermaltake Toughram 4000mhz the other day and now that I am looking the x3d isn't quite compatible with 4000mhz ram, is this correct? I have noticed that now and then when I power off and turn back on the bios reverts back to non over clocked speeds and I have to change the xmp a couple times to get it to read 4000. Is there a BIOS update that can solve this or is it is what it is?

According to the Thermaltake website, that RAM should be compatible with the X570 chipset and the Intel XMP 2.0 profile.  Your specific motherboard is not listed on their site however.  Personally, I would install the latest BIOS update for your motherboard (7C37v1K, dated Feb 2023) and see if that addresses your problem.  Running at the default speed might not be the end of the world anyhow, in terms of realized performance.
