I can’t seem to get my ryzen 5 2600X to work on my hp elitedesk 705 G4 MT. I did the bios update and chipset file download. I swapped between the stock amd am4 cpu and the ryzen countless times. I actually ran through a whole tube of thermal paste. idk if it’s a bios setting I’m missing. when I put the original cpu in it works and the new one it doesn’t. The only thing I’m changing is the cpu. I even reset the cmos and that didn’t work. Although with the new cpu I don’t get anything to display but the fans spin. Just can’t get into the bios with the new cpu. I seen people using this cpu on Reddit but no one covers in depth on this pc on YouTube.
