Ryzen 5 2600 not working

I have filled out a support ticket twice now and haven't gotten a reply so here I am. I bought a Ryzen 5 2600 and an ASUS b350-f motherboard for a new build I'm working on and found out that the BIOS wasn't updated enough for my CPU to work. I filled out a request to get a boot kit, and received the boot kit in the mail about a week ago now. I used the CPU provided to install windows and update my BIOS so that I would be able to use my Ryzen 5. After taking out the CPU the boot kit provided, I swapped it for my Ryzen 5, only to find out I still couldn't get my PC to POST. I contacted ASUS and spoke with their tech support and ruled out any possibility that this problem was due to my motherboard. They told me I should contact AMD because it seems to be my CPU that isn't functioning properly. Can anybody possibly help me get this sorted out?
