Hi there,
Recently assembled a new PC with the following specs:
- Ryzen 5 2400G
- Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 3
- 2x4 DDR 4 Corsair LPX
- Samsung EVO 860 250Gb SSD
- W10 64bits
Right after it booted and windows was installed I noticed that the CPU fan would randomly kick into high gear every now and then, even if the PC was idling.
I installed all the drivers I could find both from AMD and Gigabyte + updated the BIOS to the latest version. The issue remained.
Monitoring the temperatures I noticed that they would have peaks going quickly from 30ºC to 50ºC without doing much. Decided to run a Prime test and the CPU goes to 80ºC and seems to stay there or around, I didn't dare doing the test for much longer.
I proceeded to replace the thermal paste, thinking that the first try wasn't good enough but the I still have the exact same issue.
Anyone has any ideia of what it could be?
