Hi every one, i have a problem with clocks/boost -> temperature.
My configuration - aorus x470 gaming wifi 5, ryzen 3600, cooler thermlike 140
You can see my problems in attachment. Even if cpu usage below 3-5% (just win 10 1903v running, even without any browser), clocks are boosting to 4150 -> after that temperature growing to 52-55t... and after that, cooler speed rotation accelerates and its annoying me....
Power plan set to ryzen balanced (with minimum processor usage 5%). I try to set in bios vcore to -0.1v and its does not helps me...
Any ideas?
Hello, maybe you should try to adjust fan curve in bios?
Already did, found a compromise, but these sawtooth frequency / voltage increases are disappointing. This happens without any load on the computer!
my settings:
PBO - disable
RAM - 3600 cl 16
Offset "sign -" 0.1V
fan curve 0C=35%; 50C=50; 70C=75; 80C=100; Noctua cs14-s (Noctua NH-C14S Review | TechPowerUp)
freq and voltage changing smooth without any jumps
bios latest
My OC is - Thermaltake Frio Silent 14 with Arctic MX4.
Ram 2866
Sawtooth frequency increases occur in any mode of computer performance, from high to energy-saving. Yes, on Ryzen balanced too
check for a BIOS update once in while, bound to be some fixes eventually
