So my girl friends pc i wanted to upgrade ram on that from 16Gb team group cl 22-22-22-52 1.35V to some 32 GbG.skill Cl 16-19-19-39 1.35V but with that using xmp in bios.
The first kit was faulty sometimes i coulden get it to boot and sometimes i got booting errors like missing files and bsods memtest86 found alot of errors, so i rma'ed them and got a new kit the same and this ran fine for the first 10 bots then i gave me a boot issue cant remember the code but after a reset and trying getting into the bios the were only wierd lines in that no text, then i decided with xmp enabled to run memtest86 2 passes without errors then i tried bunping up the voltage to 1.45 no luck still sometimes i would give me boot problems, other times i ran perfectly fine its 2x 16Gb sticks to not stress the memory controller on the cpu.
Could it be the cpu's memory controller is not good and ony allows 3200mhz?
The first kit also didnt wanna do even 3200 Mhz Cl 16-19-19-39 1.35V.
3600 Mhz Failed and gave boot problems and bsods.
3533 Mhz Failed and gave boot problems and bsods.
3466 Mhz Failed and gave boot problems and bsods.
3400 Mhz wouldent even give me a pciture oddly enough
3333 Mhz Failed and gave boot problems and bsods.
3266 Mhz loads for windows but comes up with errors in windows memory diagnostic at 5%
3200 Mhzseemed to be stable but i was wrong for windows memory diagnostic no errors but memtest86 comes up with 2 errors before it is over 50%.

anyone have exsperienced this and could aid me?
2x16GB DDR4-3600 C16 should work with that motherboard and CPU combo.
Are you using the slots marked A2 and B2?
Yes A2 and B2 is the slots im using
A1 and B1 should also work for dual channel, try that and see if there is any difference.
You didn't post the G-Skill RAM Part number but according to your ASRock Motherboard QVL LIST for RAM - MATISSE it shows all G-Skill RAM at 3200Mhz not verified for Overclocking: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B550M%20Pro4/index.asp#MemoryMS
Ignore the OC not verified since it is running at its maximum speed of 3200mhz.
Also MEMTEST86 shouldn't show any errors at all. If two errors showed up at 50% running of the test indicate defective RAM MEMORY or defective Motherboard DIMM SLOT.
I would run each RAM Stick separately in A2 and B2 with MEMTEST86 to see if it is a bad DIMM Slot or RAM Stick.
These was G.skill 3600 Mhz cl 16-19-19-39 1.35 "F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC"
So is there anythingi can try in bios or is it the cpu's memory controller thst is the limsten here?
