I am trying to purchase RAM for my pc, but do not know what is compatible with my motherboard. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600. How can I find out what works with my pc?

Go into my computer and click the Hardware Tab to find what brand and chipset your MOBO is. 

Or if it's a pre built off the shelf PC tell us the brand and model number so we can find your hardware specs.

Until we have the above information we can't find what RAM your MOBO supports.

The Ryzen 5 number you gave us is just the type of AMD CPU your system is using.

most motherboard manufactures will have a list of compatible ram on their website along with the compatible processors. like my asrock mother board has both list.

Go to the asus product site (your board model), under its support section you'll find memory support qvl.

There is also https://www.amd.com/en/products/ryzen-compatible-memory/

Not sure how up to date it is.
