Hello everyone, i have constant crashes to desktop in every games i play, i literally tried everything to solve this problem from clean installation of windows with all correct drivers, reseating every component etc. I bought karhu memtest, started testing and got memory errors. So i thought it was my RAM fault (BLS2K8G4D32AESBK) then i ordered a Corsair LPX 3000 mhz (ended up with ver4.32) and i had the same pc issues and memory errors and gave it back. Noticed both were not in compatible list so i bought HyperX Predator HX432C16PB3K2/16. Still have same issues so i started testing, and i passed every 3d Mark test so i think i can exclude GPU. Saw evey component temps and it is all good with nothing going above 70 degrees in full stress test but my nvme was a bit hot (60 deg) so i got a samsung ssd but still have same problems over and over. Do not think it is the PSU as it should be enough. What would you suggest? Shoud i buy a new 3600 and see if it works out?
Msi B450 Tomahawk Max (v37 bios)
R5 3600x (w arctic 34)
HyperX Predator HX432C16PB3K2/16
Msi Rtx 2070 super gaming X trio
Corsair RX650w
Have you updated the chipset drivers?
Try disabling the XMP profile for the memory and see if it will pass the memtest.
I got memory mrrors both with and without xmp with all 3 ram sticks, in the correct slots. Latest chipset drivers installed.
Well the power supply should be good enough so that narrows it down to either the CPU or the motherboard.
You should put support tickets into both AMD and MSI and see what they say.
I bought a 3600 on Amazon, i'll set it up and test... if its not that i'll send it back if i can
Did this fix it? Cheers.
Yes it was a faulty 3600x, neved had any crash since i set up my new 3600
