Hello all,
So this is a bit of an odd one that I've been dealing with for awhile, however, I got to the point I gave up after building my recent PC (Fall of 2018).
Well, I decided to revisit the issue I've been having with the machine itself (unable to determine what the source of the issue is).
Right now, I have it down cored to use 4 instead of the full 6. As the system becomes unstable when it uses all 6 and will display various Blue-screen error codes on me (Critical process died...etc).
The current build is as follows:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Plus
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 (Currently, running at DDR4 2667 as anything higher and the system gets unstable)
Videocard: Radeon Vega 64 (1st gen)
Storage 1: Samsung 970 M.2 500 GB
Storage 2: Samsung 860 Evo 2 TB
Power Supply: 850 W Continuous
Any thoughts?
I am at a loss as to what could be wrong as I suspect either memory, board, or the offchance processor could be bad.
