I have the 5600x overclocked to 4700mhz on 1.27 voltage and then I tried 1.3 voltage and the temps are fine and everything works fine. The only time I'm having issues is when playing call of duty cold war and when I first start the game after a fresh restart, it runs perfectly fine and no issues. However, if I come back later and start the game up again, the audio becomes distorted and then the frames "skip" ahead throughout the entire gameplay session. I will run forward and then it will jump a frame, then runs smooth for a second again and then jumps a frame, etc.
I know this is caused by the manual overclock because when I turn that off it goes away, but why would it only happen on this game and only with the manual overclock? It doesn't seem to happen with PBO enabled but I keep seeing my clock speed jump from lower speeds to high speeds when PBO is enabled and I want to maximize performance.
