I have some Samsung memory:

M393A2K40CB1-CRC

I tried it with MSI Gaming Plus X470 motherboard, the EZ debug led shows that there is an issue related to the DRAM.

I wonder if Ryzen 2700 is compatible with this memory?

jimshenzhen, your MB vendor should have a a QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for the memory.  Please look there.  You have not provided nearly enough information to help you further.  Please see the required information list for posting here.  Thanks and enjoy, John

That memory is not on MSI's QVL for this motherboard. Thus, it is untested, and it may not work properly. The QVL is here:

According to MSI Support on your Motherboard, You have a fairly new BIOS and AMD CHIPSET update. If you have an older BIOS  or AMD CHIPSET, might be a good idea to update the BIOS and  CHIPSET which makes the Ryzen more compatible with the motherboard: Support For X470 GAMING PLUS | Motherboard - The world leader in motherboard design | MSI Global

These are the ONLY TWO RAM MEMORY Modules listed for SAMSUNG made RAM MEMORY:

The memory you have is RDIMM (with ECC) and is meant for use in servers.

I bought another memory which is within the msi compatible list, and it works fine.

So it's the incompatible memory.
