I am attempting to do an upgrade to my pc and I am new to this. Are these components compatible?

The CPU and motherboard are, but you will need to look at the motherboard's support website for the RAM QVL list to see which memory is compatible. Also, I would -severely- recommend DDR4-3200 RAM due to the way Ryzen chips operate. DDR4-2100 will butcher your performance.
