I want to know if its a picasso CPU because I want to know if its compatible with the MSI tomahawk non Max if it is I will get the max version.

I recommend the MAX version for any AM4 board from MSI which has larger BIOS chip so that features are not removed.

This was one reason I went for the X570 which also has the larger BIOS chip on it. The X570 boots faster than the X470 ever did but a good 30-40%.
