I think I have a faulty 5800X

Hello

It started suddenly, while doing nothing, idling, the PC would just reboot. While benching everything is working fine. PSU, GPU, temps are good. Looking in the event viewer I found this: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Is it my CPU causing random reboots?

BIOS settings are defaults, on Auto, with RAM set to XMP 3200 cl16

Thanks

BIOS was the latest, what I did is I went one step back, and it is stable overnight, I will be testing more

It seems to me my restarts were caused by the CPU, perhaps Vcore drops too low

Sounds a lot https://community.amd.com/t5/processors/ryzen-5900x-system-constantly-crashing-restarting-whea-logge...

No root cause yet. There seems to be a mixed bag of root causes but same symptom: during a non-intensive workflow, computer crashes without taking a ramp dump or bsod, but logs will show WHEA errors.

I seem to be part of the group where hwinfo was screwing up machine and triggering this problem. I rolled forward with the beta and have yet to see crashes in the past two days.
