I need help optimizing

So I have an HP Pavillion with a quad-core AMD A8-7410 APU with Radeon R 5 Graphics

This laptop has been quite slow, so I wanted to try optimizing with Ryzen Master, just to find out it's for CPUs only, and I can't use something like ThrottleStop since it's of course just for Intel processors. I really would like to make this thing faster ASAP, I really want to save a trip to a computer mechanic, I know it's a software issue and not a hardware one.

The AMD A8-7410 is 10 year old Puma architecture, it predates Ryzen and can not take advantage of Ryzen Master software. Also being an OEM manufacturer like HP the BIOS is almost certainly locked down and does not allow for any tweaking.

Your best option to improve performance would be to replace the hard drive that likely came with the laptop with a solid state drive. You could also examine the system memory and see if there are any upgrades that can be done there.

sorry, but what do you expect from a 4 core...
The notebook is for homework, for school...check emails and watch a few videos on YT, that's it.
Reinstall windows via restore/microsoft cloud, download necessary updates, configure windows, deactivate all unnecessary services...
more is not possible
