Does centos7.5 run on the new 3900x?

Does Centos7.5 run on the new AMD 3900x, talk is that the new CPU's do not run the lastest linux kernel which means I'll be going i9 with the studios computers...:(

Well Centos 7 wouldn't be "the latest kernel". They may backport support for new hardware.

Probably most people in this forum are Windoze sheep, so you might be waiting for a reply.

Download the Centos 7 live DVD (only 1.2 GB) and try it.

Then try Fedora and Suse Leap for example, see if they work.
