cooling fp4

Hi,

I have a A10N-9830E motherbord, (which is essentially a laptop motherboard) built in a desktop PC.

Works fine, the processor is socket FP4, so i cannot remove the processor.

I want to replace the cooler (to a 10 cm wide one for example) because it is noise, but i can't find any cooler to put on a socket FP4(BGA processor).

A solution would much be appriciated! Mayby some work around is possible?

Can't you just replace the CPU Cooler's fan with one that is quieter while running?

Seems to be the only part that is replaceable.

It is possible that heatsink/CPU Cooler is designed to fit in that specific motherboard only.

Can you tell how the ASRock CPU Cooler is installed on the Motherboard?

Are you able to remove it?

Found this website (unverified if reputable or not) that does sell CPU Coolers for FP5 including FP4: https://datasheets.globalspec.com/ds/3419/RegoElectronics

you can google each model to see if it is sold in Retail stores or not.

Thank you for your reply,

i will look into it, but at first glance i think it is the same fan, ore similar to, as what installed.

Maybe it is a first start to find what i want!

again, thanks for the help!
