I am having a hard time finding an AIO cooler where the plate on the cooler covers the full back plate of the CPU (7980x). Anyone have any suggestions?

Himynameismel, please see here. Why back plate? You need a water block that covers the chips under the heat spreader. Enjoy, John.

That's what I'm saying. I can't tell if the ones on that list fully cover the heat spreader but they don't look like it. The only one that does is the Noctua but that's an air cooler. Does it look like the ones on there fully cover the heat spreader?

Himynameismel, I have always used EnerMax on my Threadrippers with good luck. I did a lot of research and had good results. I continue to use them even after clogged pumps a few years ago and two RMAs. I can't remember how i figured it out, but feel free to contact technical support. Enjoy, John.
