Consistent Crashes - Typically while using Adobe products

Hi everyone, lately my system freezes and crashes have become so persistent that it's very difficult to get any work done.

They usually occur when I change from premiere to another open program or window like Microsoft Word or even when I drag files from windows explorer into premiere. All three of my screens instantly freeze and lock up and then a hard reset automatically begins a couple minutes after freezing.

Not sure why it's freezing in these moments but any help would be so incredibly appreciated!

Here are my specs:

CPU: Threadripper pro 3975WX

GPU: RTX 3090

MOBO: Asus Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI

RAM: 256GB Kingston ECC RAM

SSDs:

System SSD: Sabrent Rocket m.2 NVME

Editing Drives:

1. 1TB Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVME

2. 2, 1TB Samsung 980s

3. Samsun 970 Evo Plus 1TB

The entire system is cooled with a custom water loop (not sure if that info is needed or not)

You have a powerful PC setup. Must of cost a small fortune (-: !

Which Windows version are you using?

Have you checked to see if anything is overheating?  Your PSU Outputs are correct?

Try stress testing your PC to see if it fails any tests. I like using OCCT since it also tests the PSU.

During the testing keep an eye on Temperatures, voltages, and Fan speeds.

So basically from what I understand while you are using Adobe Premiere and you open or start another app that interfaces with Adobe your PC freezes or crashes?

Any errors when it crashes or freezes?

Check Windows Event Viewer under "Error" and see if any concerns Adobe.

Also run in a elevated Command Prompt SFC /scannow to check your Windows integrity?

Try running DXDIAG.exe and save the file to your desktop. In the last category it will show you all the files or apps that are having issues.

Did you have this problem when you first installed Adobe Premiere or did it just recently start?

Could be a Windows Update or driver that isn't compatible 100% with Adobe or maybe Adobe app itself needs to be updated or upgraded.

I presume you have opened a Adobe Support ticket or opened a thread at Adobe Forums. If so what did they say?

Yeah it def wasn't cheap, that's for sure lol

I am using the most updated version of Windows 11.

PSU outputs are all correct.

-PSU is the EVGA Supernova 1600W

Downloading OCCT now and will test soon, thanks for that recommendation, I will report back!

No errors whatsoever, just a complete system freeze and then hard restart within about 60 seconds of freezing. It usually only happens when Premiere is open. Sometimes its even happened when bringing files from explorer window into Premiere. Other times, just in the middle of editing.

It's pretty much been happening every now and then since I first built this TR system.

I have opened an Adobe support ticket and some of the initial suggestions have worked so far but I will definitely try your testing suggestions and report back.

THANK YOU!!!
