Hi all! I bought a new 5800x installed, didn't undervolt it, didn't change anything in the bios settings. At first it worked fine, but now even without load the processor holds 4.7 ghz, voltage 1.4-1.5 and temperatures under 70 degrees Celsius. What could be the problem? Help please

Holding at 4.7ghz as i expect if you go in the bios under advanced cpu settings that all core boost will be set to enabled. This will set the cpu to max clock of 4.7 ghz where as you can set to auto so will only push when required or disable which will set it at the base clock of 3.8 ghz.

Okay thank you, ill try it now
The stock was like this. I put everything on the auto, but there is no change
What was running when you took the screenshots. Even at 3.8GHZ your voltage/Wattage/Temp shows something is running.
Mine at idle
Running CPU stress test in Aida64. I have all core boost disabled which sets the base clock to 3.7GHZ

Nothing is running except default windows services
My Bios
Set PBO to auto and select advanced cpu settings and disable all core boost. If idling at 3.8ghz your temps are still high id think maybe checking the AIO.
In addition to the bios settings not being in auto mode, the HyperX NGENUITY app was putting a strain on the CPU. After restarting the PC, it starts up and starts to load the CPU. Anyway, thank you all! Turns out the HyperX app is the culprit for everything
