AMD EPYC 7313 Milan processor core power consumption

Hello,

I am conducting an experiment on the AMD EPYC 7313 Milan processor. My goal is to measure the power consumption of matrix multiplication algorithms. I attempted to check the power consumption on each core using the stress utility on Linux, but it only showed a maximum power of about 5 W per core. Is there a way to increase the power consumption on a specific core? Could this be due to the processor’s design or its power management, resulting in an imprecise reading?

If no answer try posting at AMD SERVER GURUS that deals with everything to do with AMD EPYC processors and its software and hardware: https://community.amd.com/t5/server-gurus/ct-p/amd-server-gurus

Thanks. I'll try that.
