9700X freezes with Ryzen Master. Hard reset needed.

Hi, i just adquired a 9700X for a good value (at least in my country) to take a jump into an 8 core CPU. Now, i'm currently running my 7600, because the 9700X freezes while running Ryzen Master Curve Optimizer.
When i reach 15 minutes time of the 50 minutes that the test lasts, it freezes my PC and i need to do a hard reset.
The weird thing is, when the PC restarts, Ryzen Master continues with the Curve Optimization and finishes it.
I tried my 7600 with no issues at all. I knew that, in the past, ASUS boards were having problems with RM, but now, it pass the Curve Optimization with my 7600 but it freezes my 9700X.
What could be the issue?
I'm on the latest BIOS.

Rest of the system:
B650 ProArt Creator
2x16GB XPG Lancer Memory at 5600MT/s
XFX 6700 XT
850W TT GF1 80+ Gold
2x nvme's

Are you trying to use the Auto Optimizing feature when the lockup occurs? Ryzen Master may simply be trying too aggressive a setting and the processor becomes unstable.

Have you tried to manually set a Curve Optimizer value?

Ryzen R7 5700X | B550 Gaming X | 2x16GB G.Skill 3600 | Radeon RX 7900XT
Ryzen R7 5700G | B550 Gaming X | 2x8GB G.Skill 4000 | Radeon Vega 8 IGP
Ryzen R5 5600 | B550 Gaming Edge | 4x8GB G.Skill 3600 | Radeon RX 6800XT

Yes, i used the Auto Optimizing feature. The thing is, it locks up at 15 minutes when all cores are pushed up. I restart the PC, it continues with the CO and finishes with a -24 CO. Maybe it's like you said. Will i see if everything is fin with everyday use, right? Should i imput a -24 CO and play some games, browse the internet, etc? I ran OCCT (Core Cycling and Auto/all cores) and CB R23 with no issues.

Yes, if it will complete a Cinebench Multi run without locking up or crashing then try it and see if it's stable over daily tasks like games and browsing.

Hi! This day, i ran CB R23 half an hour (stability test), no issues.
I ran OCCT CoreCycler for an hour, no issues.
I ran Prime95 (latest version, no AVX) for 2 hours, no issues.
I ran CoreCycler Y-Cruncher for an hour, no issues.
I player GOW Ragnarok and RE 4 Remake, no issues.
I ran Passmark, CPU-Z and Geekbench 6, no issues.
I do some web browsing and other light stuff, for now, no issues.

Let's hope with the days everything will be fine.

I never get along with Ryzen Master that's why I always just go into the BIOS and do the curve optimization myself and pretty much always end up with better temps and higher core clocks, so I'd recommend doing the optimizations yourself if you have the patience for it.

Hi, and thanks for your answer. I found this in a review from Harware Busters: "Using the Ryzen Master Curve Optimizer function, I encountered many system freezes and hangs. AMD should look into this." It seems there's a problem with RM and the 9000 series. I'm gonna do what you said. Cheers!

galacticaphantom, this is a user forum and we do not tell AMD anything. Please report your suspicions here. John.

I didn't ask anybody to do that. Cheers.
