My 2400g Will not go over 3.7 ghz under load?  I thought it was capable of reaching 3.9 ghz?  Checked bios to make sure core boost was enabled and it is.  Not sure why I cant reach 3.9?

with the stock cooler and mx-4 i also get 3.7 which is about the limit of the OEM cooler

if you want more get a dual fan water cooler and that might get you there

if you can handle the condensation LN2 is a sure fire way to overclock a CPU

I have 120 mm Noctu cooler. My idle temps are around 24 c and max temp at extreme load around 52 c. I have plenty of headroom left. There is no reason this processor can't boost to 3.9 as advertised. Unless I simply juts got a Lemon.

my cpu does 3.7 or so loaded hard and that is enough for my needs

i use a very carefully installed thin layer of MX-4 to keep my processor cool

What software are you all using to measure cpu speed, and what software are you running when you are measuring your boost speed?
