so here is my setup

2400g

Gigabyte b350n wifi

Lg 27uk650 4k monitor freesync range 40-61hz

I can only seem to get freesync to run/work when games are in windowed mode.  I know chip isn't powerful enough for 4k, but I run the few games I play at lower rez.  pubg diablo3 and world of warships.

I have the same processor and mobo, and have constant black screens unless I use windowed mode. Did you find a solution to this?

I have the exact same APU the ryzen 5 2400g and the exact same problem; freesync only works on windowed mode. Please let me know if you found a solution.

I've really only tested it on rainbow six siege. Also my monitor is a Samsung s24f350 60hz and it supports freesync obviously. I have windows 10 pro. My mobo is the asrock ab350 pro4. 8 gb gskill ram @ 2666hz

Using HDMI instead of DisplayPort fixed it for Fortnite and Minecraft, but not for Sherlock or Regency Solitaire.

I've been using only hdmi because that's the only port that works with freesync for my monitor.
