Will My GPU Work with the Monitor?

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my monitor and I chose Acer Nitro XV242Y.

My current GPU is GTX 1650 KlamX.

Yes, I know the monitor specs are a bit much for the GPU but I am more of a casual gamer and I am used to lowering game settings. And I do intend to get a new GPU, whenever it is available and at somewhat decent price. So, as of now I will do with this set up.

My question is regarding the HDMI ports - the monitor has HDMI 2.0 and the GPU has HDMI 2.0b.

1. Will I have a problem connecting the GPU with the Monitor because of the difference in the ports?

2. Will there be any other problems because of difference between the type of HDMI ports?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, I didn't think that HDMI ports would work differently on Nvidia gpus than AMD's.

Thank you for the reply.
