I just received my Mac Pro tower, and want to add additional displays (I don't want to use the unsightly Thunderbolt USB-C on top of the case) and the back doesn't have enough ports.

I tried adding a stock Radeon RX 580 card to one of the PCIe slots, but it's not recognized by the Mac Pro.

Are there any somewhat-current Radeon cards that will work in the Mac to drive a 4K display @ 60hz?

apple does not like standard pc parts so they have a proprietary setup

look for apple compatible hardware on ebay or other stores
