What does RX mean in a Radeon graphics card?
Just part of the model name, it doesn't stand for anything like nVidia's "RTX" designation. Currently midrange and entry level consumer graphics are RX, high end is Vega, and professional graphics are WX and V, plus the ultra high end Radeon Pro SSG.
I thought the Vega 56 was called RX Vega 56, is it now considered a mid-range card too?
Thanks
according to this two year old Reddit Thread, It seems like RX stands for Radeon Experience.

EDIT: I do believe I once read in a AMD Advertising where they did mention that RX meant Radeon Experience. That was a long time ago when the RX GPU first started to come out.
I just assumed it meant "Radeon 10" as a follow on from the R9 moniker used after the HD7000 series
That is what I thought too, but was just my assumption. I really have no idea.
