it means you have an issue with either the software or hardware of your AMD GPU
More details surrounding the issue would be helpful ... like:
PC/Laptop full specs make/model of everything ..etc
Did you just update something or install anything .. etc
I have been trying to post a full description of the problem since last sunday but my post kept on disappearing with no explanation.
MI60 supposed to be new. The extract shown in my first post is from the ubuntu boot log.
This is clean installation of Ubuntu on a server:
system: HP ML350 G9 (pcie gen 3)
OS: Ubuntu 22.04.4 Server
amdgpu from: apt-get install ./amdgpu-install_5.4.50403-1_all.deb
usecases: amdgpu-install --usecase=rocm,opencl,openclsdk,hip,hiplibsdk
Any comments? Is it as hopeless as it appears to be?
my replies get removed without any explanation.
clean install on a HP ML350 G9 (pcie gen 3)
amdgpu-install_5.4.50403-1_all.deb
it accepts one-liners. that is something -- OS Ubuntu 22.04.4 amdgpu-install_5.4.50403-1_all.deb and usecase=rocm, opencl, openclsdk, hip, hiplibsdk
amdgpu-install_5.4.50403-1_all.deb usecase=rocm,opencl,openclsdk,hip,hiplibsdk
