I've had these issues and various games and I'm not sure how to really fix it. Below is just an example and sometimes it can be so that I can't even look at whatever is glowing like this. I'm not even sure what to call this issue so that I can google it so even help in that regard would be appreciated.
If I lower the lighting settings all the way down it helps a little bit depending on the game.
