Some AMD software: Adrenalin Edition has been restored due to unexpected system failure.

Hi there. I have this error now, happening very often, for the last 6 months or more only when the Windows has booted, after I insert my windows pin. There is no system crash in games or any apps, nothing is present in Event Viewer. System is rock stable. Why is this happening?

SYSTEM SPECS:

GPU: Sapphire RX 7900XT, separate pci e cables for both ports.

PSU: Corsair 750RMx

CPU: Intel 14700k (with no stability issue, tested)

RAM: 64GB on MB's QVL.

There is no overclock, no instability, latest drivers from AMD, 'Minimal Install'. I have used their cleaner, DDU, nothing fixes this error. Not even turning off Windows Wuick Boot.

At random boots, I get this error, yet nothing is crashing...

If it's not happening in any games or apps I assume it is doing it on "start-up".  Check your overall power usage for the PSU.  Are your connectors all plugged in solidly.  If it is occurring only at start-up it acts as if something is drawing power away from the GPU or CPU for a brief second.  If you could provide a list of all components with the wattage required for each it would be a quick check to determine if the Corsair 750 is adequate.  I'm guessing that your CPU is under 100W and this GPU is recommending a minimum of 700W PSU.

I would look very closely at a PSU of over 1000W and see if it solves the problem.

I'm running Corsair 850W but not a 7900 XT.

If it ain't broke; don't fix it!

I can confirm that after upgrading my PSU to a 1200w Corsair unit, the issue dissapeared. Bizzare but I'm happy that it works. Apparently having the minimum spec for the PSU is not the greatest idea.

When gaming it pulls around 550 to 650 from wall. Every cable is plugged in, I see no damage also the psu is a very solid one. I'll try to change the ports for the pcie cables on the psu to see if something changes.

I seemed to have this exact same issue when using AMD Fidelity and other Anti-Lag features.

I've turned all the settings off.

I never used those features. My problem was related to the PSU, interestingly, only when booting.
