Current drivers - "WHQL-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition-22.5.1-Win10-Win11-May10".
The issue persists with both "AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition-22.10.1-Win10-Win11-Oct4" & "Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2020-21.10.2-Win10-Win11-64Bit-Oct25".
Monitor: HP 27f 4k (HDMI1) [27" IPS LCD] (3CM11523GY); it's not HDR.
CPU: QuadCore AMD Athlon II X4 631, 2600 MHz (26 x 100).
RAM: 16361 МБ (DDR3 SDRAM).
MB: Asus F1A75-M LE (1 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 2 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN).
Previous card (XFX R7750 1GB GDDR5 Ghost Edition) had no such issues.
try custom gain saturation and contrast and brightness levels with ULTRATRUECOLOR
and BT.2390-9999 colorspace or something. and uhh use like 30Fstops of dynamic range.
also apply gammalevels of 3.7 and gammaramps of 1.9? err.. ultratrueVRS ultratrueVS and ultratruefidelityfxvariablerateshaders
then do the same vrs vs and variable shaders with values of 2 and again with values of 9.
looks better right? oh set renderresolution to millions or billions or octillions.
use ultraresolution2 instead of superresolution2
trueresolution an option too you know?
or umm for colour in particular you can use the words pro or superoptimizedfullcolor
consider using defaultcolor too you gotta unruin it and use the default ones first to begin with.
always set display to FULL 12bit RGB 444 color.
maybe disable HDCP too.
dont you ever dare use that lousy nvidia 80s vhs color of ycbcr 420 compressed garbage. only DLSR raw photography quality or higher for an AMD game while thousands or trillions of times beyond ultra quality! ESPECIALLY for your youtube and netflix.. else the realtime 3d reality its simulating will look unimpressive like nvidia or intel cards playing the video with their not having any hardware pretend software.. OOOOH did i forget to mention SIMD! simd is important like asynchronous compute and every other AMD word.. but yeah lots of simd. oh and try typing in nvidiamode
renderermodetrue and other neat stuff work pretty cool but u gotta cartoon nvidia mode it up first for the sparkles and cheap software tricks to turn on.
Try another software/browser to watch youtube. Edge or Firefox.
If doesn't help
Reset monitors internal settings from menu and check they are ok.
If doesn't help
Make sure you don't have HDR enabled in Windows
If doesn't help
Radeon software -> Gaming -> Global Display -> Try which is the highest color depth your system accepts and choose RGB 4:4:4 as PIxel format. Make sure display color enhancement, custom color and deficiency corrections are off.
If doesn't help
Download driver for display (actually colour profile) and intall/enable: https://support.hp.com/fi-fi/drivers/selfservice/hp-value-27-inch-displays/3989902/model/28012479?sk...
If doesn't help, use AMD driver removal tool and reinstall drivers.
I've done all that. It doesn't work. 1080p vids look like 144p while "Video Decode" sits at 0%.
HW decode works great with xvideos.com though. However, the image looks pixelated even at 1080p and the colours are all washed out. I've also noticed this: https://imgur.com/a/JRrdiHL. I have an 8-bit monitor, not a 12-bit one. How do I fix it?
