RX7900XTX windowed mode 2003 game antialiazing not working

Hello,

I have an antialiazing problem with an old video game called Freelancer when I'm in windowed. Everthing worked fine on my old HD6870 by forcing it in the drivers settings. What can be done to be able to get the AA x8EQ ? I applied a Hack to make it borderless windowed mode but it didn't worked. I play on this mode to keep my display calibration active so I don't want to play in fullscreen mode.

Thank you for your future inputs

I managed to make it works ! In fact I used dxwnd (https://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/). I used the DirectX11 hook and set the window style to "Modal". It's nice I managed to solve the problem I had with this game !

20-30 year old games rarely work well on modern operating systems and hardware. You could re-purchase the game on a service like Steam where it is supported, or you could try running it in an emulator or compatibility mode. Or simply build a retro gaming PC using older hardware from that era.

Ryzen R7 5700G | B550 Gaming X | 2x8GB G.Skill 4000 | Radeon Vega 8 IGP
Ryzen R5 5600 | B550 Gaming Edge | 4x8GB G.Skill 3600 | Radeon RX 6800XT

I can't buy it on Steam and GOG. I can only download it as an abandonware. What do you mean by "running it in an emulator" ? Do you mean putting the game into a Virtual Machine ? I just tried the Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode but it didn't helped.
