RX6600 fans not working

I have encountered an issue with my RX6600 where the fans don't seem to start working under any circumstance. Having encountered "Driver hung and has been restarted" problems in one of my games, I looked into it and despite the GPU being at 90 degrees when I was checking it, the fans had not started. Having tried the manual override in an attempt to get them working and troubleshooting, they did not turn on. They did not seem to start when booting the PC either. I have tried factory resetting the driver software to try and get it to work. This did not have any effect.

In Adrenalin, under Performance, Tuning, try selecting a different GPU profile such as Quiet or Balanced.

If that doesn't work, also try Custom (Manual) enable Fan Tuning and disable Zero RPM.

As said in the post, Manual override has already been tried and had no effect on the fans. Zero RPM on/off was also already tried and had no effect.

did you use 2 different cables from your PSU to your GPU ?
