Hello, since like version 24.7.1 of the driver update, my games started to crash after I ALt+F4 of the game and start clicking on my second monitor.

My main Monitor is a LG, 27GN800 68cm 144hz  via DisplayPort 1.4 my second monitor is a normal acer 60 hz ( dont know the exact model) being connected via HDMI.

It started of in Genshin where it crashed after 10 mins being in the game and i Alt+tabed out of the game, but its getting worse and worse with each new driver  with more games crashing like League of Legends or even normal Minecraft.

Can someone help me out what could be the reason and how to fix it ^^?

Same exact issue, have tried regediting MPO, turning off desktop background recording, reinstalling windows, reinstalling drivers. My primary monitor is a 144hz AOC, secondary is a 72hz Samsung. Unsure of the cause.

It happens about 1 in every 10 alt tabs, especially when something else is on the other monitor (youtube, another game, etc)

Hopefully somebody can get us some assistance!

Was there a driver version where that wasn't happening? If so, I'd use the AMD DDU tool to clean out your drivers and go back to that version of Adrenalin.

I actually don't remember the last driver this wasn't happening on. It used to not be as rampant for sure. May have to go back and test this out.

Downgraded just back to 24.9.1

So far have opened games on both monitors and tabbed between several times with no crash. I know this was happening way before but it definitely seems to be an issue with 24.10.1 specifically.

Thanks!

EDIT: Not 30 seconds after I posted this, alt tabbing back into one of the games I received a crash.
