RX 6700 XT XFX crashes

Hello, I just upgraded from RX 470 4gb to the RX 6700 xt and from now on I get constant crashes mid game on EVERY game. Driver version is latest for now. The gpu is loaded only maximum 50-60% as well as cpu and the temperature is around 60C.

What I tried:

Reinstalled windows, Installed different drivers, NO DIFFERENCE.

PC Specs:
I5 11400

Gigabyte Z590 VISION G

Corsair 2X16 gb ram

Thermaltake toughpower gf 3 750W gold 80plus

  1. Is your GPU connected with separate PSU cables (not daisy-chained)?
  2. Use DDU / AMD Cleanup Utility to uninstall the current GPU drivers in safe mode. Use DP cable before booting into safe mode to avoid HDMI compatibility issues (black screen).
  3. There have been lots of issues with 24.x.x reported here. If you need the latest drivers for game support try a "Drivers Only" install of 24.4.1. If you want stability or Adrenalin, try 23.12.1 or 23.11.x.
    1. Personally, I had to disable ReBAR in BIOS and install 23.12.1 for stability on my RX 6800
    2. Always use DDU / ACU to remove current drivers before upgrading or installing a different version
  4. Try disabling XMP
  5. If you have Adrenalin installed, make sure your GPU max clock freq isn't set higher than what is listed on your GPU's spec sheet. My RX 6800 was set higher than spec and I had to lower it to 2100 MHz.
