RX 6700 XT system will not boot with red VGA light on

So I installed my new RX 6700 XT in my system and it will not boot.  If I plug in two PCIe power cables in the card the system will not power on.  If I unplug one of the PCIe power cables I can get the system to boot with a red VGA light on the system board, I assume this is for low voltage?  The power supply is a Corsair RM 750X, the systemboard is an MSI X470 GAMING PLUS MAX Socket AM4.  The processor is an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, so I have been unable to load any drivers due to no display.  I ran a separate cable ...

I was able to solve my problem.  I had run two PCIe power cables to the card one was a split 6pin plus 2pin cable and one was an 8 pin cable.  I replaced the 8 pin connector cable with another 6 pin plus 2 pin cable and that fixed the problem.  Not sure what the difference was but that was the solution.
