Hey guys,
I just found a ton of threads where people talk about the famous "Unknown Error" in Vulkan games, like RDR2, where the VRAM would fill up until the game would crash.
It also happens to me and Im wondering if you guys are also experiencing the same and if AMD is aware of it or not.
You can get rid of the VRAM problem by switching to DX12 or deactivating SAM in Radeon settings. I took a video, as soon as my VRAM hits around 14000MB. Thats when the VRAM counter (RTSS) stops. Usually VRAM will fill up to 14000-15000MB before it stops and the game will crash after a few minutes.

I tried different cards (6800 XT and 6900 XT), I tried different setups, different Radeon drivers and removed OC from my hardwaren, and there is still the memory leak on Vulkan games.
Specs :
5800X, B550 Elite v2, 6800 XT, Windows 11, Radeon 21.11.3
Second clip. Took me around 5 minutes to fill up my VRAM up to 14000MB with fast traveling. The counter stopped again and the game crashed crashed within the next 2-3 minutes.

Yes I got the same issue with VRAM Leak with 6900 xt . My VRAM Utilization was around 15393 and then the same error ffff
Switch to Direct x 12 will fix the issue
Maybe you all would want to join AMD Forums Vulkan Developer's Forum. But you first must get "Whitelisted" to join that AMD Vulkan forum from here: https://community.amd.com/t5/newcomers-start-here/bd-p/newcomer-forum
