So when I start my computer it acts normal, but after a session of gaming, the boost frequency remains instead of dropping back to 300MHz, And then I have to restart my computer to fix it.
I tried updating the drivers.
I have AMD Instant replay and MSI afterburner running.
System specs are:
FX6300 autoboost disabled
RX 580 4GB Sapphire Nitro
and other...
Could be a the MSI afterburner conflicting with the Adrenalin.
I used the GPU Tweak from ASUS and it did conflicted with Adrenalin on several things, like fan speeds, zero dB mode and such.
Now I use only Adrenalin because its really great and you can set profiles for each game/application and leave the Global for desktop with a low clock and voltage so it maintains zero dB mode for longer during browsing and youtubing.
Try closing the MSI, set a manual mode and give it a go.
It bahaves normally with the MSI afterburner when I start the PC, Closing it makes no difference.
The utialisation also gets stuck at 100% according to MSI afterburner and AMD software, while task mananger says it is at 0%.
I noticed that It happens usually while Instant replay is activated, but after deactivating it, It is still at 100%.
Have you tried DDU and fresh driver install?
I tried reinstalling the drivers couple of times
