Hi all, I can't enable crossfire for R9 295x2.
So lets list all the things that i done already.
1. Software:
I tried different System Version (Windows 7, 10 x64) with different amd drivers CCC 15.11.1, CCC 13.9, CCC 15.7, Crismon, AMD Software 20.x.x 21.x.x etc.
Reinstalations was done with DDU, without ddu.. literally in all possible combinations.
2. Hardware
So, CCC (all versions) states that 2nd GPU is disabled - no option to crossfire, AMD RADEON Software shows both GPUS:
gpu 1 (main/auto), gpu 2 (auto), also no option for crossfire.
BUT what is important GPU-Z shows for both graphics card "AMD CROSSFIRE: DISABLED". All sensors OK except fan RPM for second GPU, but i think is it as it should meant to be.
3. Tests
Both GPU's cores are working correctly. I tested them independently with typical benchmark, I've selected 1st, or 2nd gpu and run test. GPU-Z or AMD Software shows 100% usage on 1st or 2nd gpu which depends on selected GPU. If i run 2 benchmarks on 2 cores separately then both of them are working on 100% load
4. Register
Was trying to disable ULPS, enablind CrossfireAutoLink, nothing helped.
5. PC Components.
I7 6700
MSI B150M Pro vdh
hdd/ssd
some soundBlaster
4x4gb ddr4 ram
beQuiet PowerZone 650 - i know, but please before you write "power supply fault", think if it's possible that power supply is leading to lack of CROSSFIRE Option? What card mechanism would do that? I would really appreciate answer from some gpu enginner.
My last guess is that this card has propably broken internal crossfire connection which leads to missing crossfire option, or is incompatible with other pc components like motherboard or something else.
Last hope is that this card will work in other PC.
Does anyone has idea what is going on? Thanks.
