Hello,
Today, out of the sudden, my gpu fan went very high, i noticed it with me headphones on, even if the computer is idle. It had happened before and i did what i did today, i manually download and install the latest drivers. But this time the problem continues.
About my pc:
CPU : Ryzen 2600x
PSU : RM 550x
MotherBoard: B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
OS: Windows 11
did you check temps ?
Yes, it's 27 celsius.
is this gpu temp ? so your fans are going 100% with no reasons and low temps ? never seen that
did you check your fan curve in adrenalin ? did you try to change it maybe ?
Yes, but after 5 seconds it goes high again...
did you try uninstall with ddu and reinstall?
I just did, it seemed to be fine but after 5 minutes, went high again.
Changing the fan speed from msi afterburner seems to fixes the problem, i hope it stays that way. Thank you for your time!
You should monitor temps while under load since for some reason system thinks your GPU is running hot.
Maybe Afterburner was the problem in the first place and without it, fans would work fine.
Temp data is basically voltages, so this could also be a sign of some electrical issue.
Thanks for the advice! About the afterburner, i didn't have it installed when the problem started.
