My problem is almost exacts as: My gpu core clock keeps fluctuating (SOLVED)
I'm getting lots of stuttering in high demanding games. Where my GPU is pegged at 100% load.
Same card. Same throttle point of around 60c. Crazy fan speed of 90% at 60c. And I'm pretty sure it's not a power limit issue. (as power limit settings did nothing / everything is connected right "8 pin power")
Though I need to know how I can test if my GPU to see if the temp reading are wrong to come to the same conclusion as they did.
Any help, would be appreciated.
Specs
CPU: R5 1600 3.8ghz (Stable)
GPU: MSI Gaming X RX 480 8gb (stock)
RAM: 8gb 2666mhz
MOBO: MSI B350 Tomahawk
Update: Well I went through with replacing my thermal paste anyway and it seems to work for now. Lower temps. good frametime, only minor dips in clock though that could be wattman at this point.
