red devil 7800 XT keeps rebooting
Hi
I upgraded from Rx580 to a 7800 xt about a month ago and since then, it reboots randomly a couple a times a day. If i play games or watch youtube it reboots.
At the time I got a 850W power supply and a rysen 7 3700x, so I upgraded my entire pc setup, with ryzen 7 7800x3d, 32Gb ddr5, and 1000W corsair.
The problem is that the pc still reboots, I have the 23.11.1 AMD driver installed, and all settings are default so no overclocking.
Can someone explain why?

Hi,
I am sami and I am new here, whenever I try to post my issue in discussion, it says add labels at the end. Kindly inform me what are labels OR what labels I should add. Thanks!

I found following error in app & event manager, translated from danish.
"The system has rebooted without properly shutting down first. This error can be caused by the system becoming unresponsive, crashing, or power loss unexpectedly."

No error logs prior to rebooting points to it being a hardware issue.
I assume you have tried the easy stuff, like re-seating your GPU and memory.
Can you try swapping your new power-supply with your old one?

Interesting, I got the same error as you. Got 7 of these since mid-september. All in Cyberpunk 2077.

I don’t accept underclocking a brand new card, as a solution. M

After some troubleshooting I found that before every reboot the event manager gives following warning” reset to device /device/raidport1” do anybody knows what it means?
