When I go to the download link for vBIOS v106 I get the message:
"The requested page could not be found. "
What's the scoop with vBIOS v106? As well when I look in the Radeon Control Panel the only BIOS version information showing is BIOS Version 016.004.000.038...
More information would be greatly appreciated...
This is the BIOS you have installed in your GPU Card from PowerTechUp Website: VGA Bios Collection: AMD Radeon VII 16 GB | TechPowerUp
By the date of the BIOS plus it ends in "106" (GPU Device Id: 0x1002 0x66AF 113-D3600200-106) seems to indicate you have the latest BIOS version installed.
If you still have doubts you can always open an Online AMD Service Request (AMD Support) and asked them if the BIOS version you have is the same as the one name BIOS 106 from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form
Thanks you elstaci! I did update my BIOS every early on, but it looked like there had been a second update from there from some of the things I'd read here and on other forums. Looks like 106 is the latest -- looks like your post helped resolve this confusion for at least one other person as well, thanks again!
Radeon VII is in EOL. They're no longer gonna support it. They also recommend not updating the Bios.
no longer support ? rly ? is it joke?
Obviously there will be driver support, and Game support. But I feel as far as fixes for underlying issues among other things will no be dealt with.
It is still available on Asrock's product page

AMD Does not Recommend, in fact they strongly advise against updating the Radeon VII Bios, they no longer carry it for this reason.
