Radeon Pro WX5100 won't display 4K resolution

I am using a Seiki SE39uy04 4K TV that works fine at 3840x2160 resolution with my old Win7 computer with a Firepro W5100, but only allows a max of 1920x1080 resolution on my new Win10 computer with a Radeon Pro WX5100.  I have updated to the latest driver and swapped cables between the two computers.  It seems to think the TV has a max resolution of 1920x1080 and displays that as the "recommended" resolution.  Please help!

  1. Are you using the exact same cable and adapter you used for W5100?
  2. Are you using the same HDMI input on your TV?

Thanks for the fast response! Yes, I have the two computers running side-by side. I am using identical "4K UHD" DisplayPort to HDMI cables on both computers. As a test, I unplugged the HDMI cable connected to the 4K TV from my old Win7 W5100 card, which was displaying 3840x2160 resolution, and plugged it into the new Win10 WX5100, but could only get 1920x480. I also tried re-booting after swapping cables, to no avail.

I noticed in the forum post "No 4k resolution options in windows on my AMD Radeon RX 550" that the same problem was solved by an Active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. I've ordered one of these and a high-speed 4K HDMI cable. Hopefully, that will fix it!
