TLDR; recently took an older mac and 'slightly' updated it with a radeon 7970 card and 10.14
I need 3 displays and I cant get this card to do it, as it sits. It needs an adapter or hub or.
Longer-
In theory this 7970 card will support 6 displays on a mac.
How?
I've seen other msg boards that say things like 'active' display hub etc to get more than one monitor connected to a single mini display port.
I know that mac is not MST friendly, so pretty much every 'hub' I've seen that looks correct wont extend the deisktop, just mirror it.
So my bottom line question is,
Back in the day of this card, what were mac people using to get more than 2 displays out of this card? what adapter or hub or accessory was the goto, era-correct piece to use?
