i have 2 samsung 2493hm screens connected via DVI to my new r9 390 with win7 / catalyst 15.7.1.
as soon as i turn one of the screens off, the desktop setting is lost and the gpu believes the screen is not connected anymore. with my old radeon 5850/6970/r9 280 this never happened and the desktop settings still remained even after turning one of the screens off.
is there any way to reach the old r9 280 detection behaviour?
