5700 xt Catalina 10.15.6

Is it a known bug that ProRender can't be used with nParticles? I would expect it to just make the render view black but I'm getting an instant crash when I go to renderer/Radeon Prorender.

My scene is a bit heavy so maybe that's why? I should have probably run this test with a lighter scene...

EDIT: I just tried it again with a simple scene and it instantly crashes still. Must be a bug.

5700xt, osX catalina 10.15.6, whatever driver comes with catalina 10.15.6, Maya 2020.3.

I just tried it in Maya 2019.2 and same exact issue. 

Create a sphere. Create an nParticle. Create instancer with sphere in nParticles. Change renderer to Prorender. Crash!

Thanks for replying! There is no 10.51.1 or later version of catalina. 10.15.7 is the latest. I'm on 10.15.6. i think you meant to type 10.15.1.

I'm installing Maya on my PC to see if this causes the same issues. If it works on the PC side, i will upgrade my mac to 10.15.7 and try again. I will be back in an a few 

BTW, I really hope I can get this working! I've been getting some amazing renders and the speeds have been wonderful! I really want to be able to use nParticles and Bitfrost (eventually). I'm waiting for the RX 6900 to be available to purchase it but I need to make sure I can get at least nParticles to work. Does a document exist somewhere that shows the current bugs?

Unfortunately, I could not get Maya to install on Windows. I can not test it :(
