Hi buddies!
I had to send my 3090 ZOTAC for RMA because of thermal paste issue.. and I'm for 2 years hype about to join Red team. I thought that I'll easily forget my Nvidia past.
What a bad surprise when I first time ran a game on my brand new XFX.
My rig is :
1x Alienware 240hz 1440p as main screen 1x Alienware
240hz 1080p as secondary
4x 8gb 3600mhz Gskill Trident Z
Intel 12700kf
Z690 Gigabyte Gaming X (up to date)
Windows 11 (clean install - I tried as well with Win 10)
PSU EVGA 850W Gold Plus (tested with Corsair 850W
gold plus
XFX 7900xt
All drivers are up to date and used DDU before switching from Nvidia to AMD
League of Legends - 240 fps but goes 140-150 fps when team fighting and lot of animations
Valorant - 300 fps capped but so unstable like moving every seconds from 200 fps to 250 fps to 280 fps always moving
Every games are running smooth but there is a lot of FPS drops like those two. It's really annoying because I never had this with Nvidia 3099 before...
Do you have boys and girls any advices for me about tweak or fix this?
