Older game not compatible with newer GPU

Trying to get The Chronicles of Riddick:Assault on Dark Athena to run on Windows 11 but each time I go to launch it, It gives me the following error -

"The computers graphics adapter does not have the sufficient capabilities to run this application"

Tried all the usual stuff, Windows 11 fully updated, 6950XT driver fully updated to 22.6.1, Made sure DirectX is fully up to date from Microsoft, Run in compatibility mode etc etc.... but nothing works, Anyone got any ideas ?

I bought it through Steam a few  years ago but I did manage to find a tidbit of info from another forum, A setting in a config file buried in the hidden user settings in documents for total memory amount, Changed it to 16GB and like wizardry it now works
