Hello together,

New World doesn't work on the full screen. The welcome-screen starts on the full monitor, but when the game is loading the screen is getting smaller to 3/4 of the monitor. The game is still in the fullscreen mode.

Also I can't choose a monitor and the position of the cursor is not exactly correct.

If I chosse the resolution 1920*1040 in Windows, the game starts on the full monitor.

I've tried a new install of steam and the game, delete Graphic-Driver etc.

I have a AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT an a Gigabyte G27QC Monitor. I like to play it on 2560*1440. I have a second Screen (TV) Philips 1920*1040, but it isn't connect at this time.I use Adrenalin PRO and all drivers are new.

Have you tried dragging/expanding the screen, also can't see what the minimize/maximize button in toolbar is set to?

yes i tried du expend the screen and the buttin is grey, cause the game is in fullscreen-mode. For the game it is fullscreen i think.

3. Select Windowed Mode
4. Change the resolution to something lower than your current one; 1060×1024 would work.
5. Apply those settings
6. Change Windowed Mode to Fullscreen

One of them is changing scaling in Windows to 100%

And one, if you have it installed through Steam is adding -fullscreen -handle to Launch options (you can find it in the link)

This is interesting. Any issues when using Windowed or borderless?

No issue, in window mode i can move the window. In borderless the window is stuck in the left corner.

EDIT: I wonder if there is something wrong with this site as when I originally replied about 11 minutes ago, there was just the question and no other answers except mine. Now there is suddenly many answers from many different days.

Yes ive tried these points. But this helps for a bug when the game diesnt work on fullscreen.

My game is every time on fullscreen mode. I think it is something with the monitor options in the game. I cannot choose a monitor in the video ootions.

If you go to Radeon software - gaming tab - choose that game from the list and set Scaling mode to fullscreen, does it help?

Im so sad, it doesnt work.

Format c was the solution. It works now in 2560x1460 on the full screen.
